Join us for the next installment of our Equity Talk series, hosted in collaboration with South Dakota Voices For Peace. This session will focus on educating health care facilities about their rights and their patients' rights when it comes to immigration enforcement. Health care organizations, employers, and public health partners with essential “know your rights” information for immigrants. Designed to address key federal policies and their implications, this webinar applies to attendees from both North Dakota and South Dakota.

Featured Speaker
Taneeza is a first-generation American Muslim immigration lawyer who has called Sioux Falls home since 2012. She began her private immigration law practice in 2013 after receiving a Bush Foundation Leadership Fellowship, and in 2017 she co-founded South Dakota Voices for Justice and its sister organization, South Dakota Voices for Peace, which builds power and enables healing in immigrant, refugee, and Muslim communities. Taneeza is also the Executive Director for South Dakota Voices for Justice.
